Michael Jackson:performer, man, or child trapped by abuse? Joe Jackson is to blame!
Yes, we all know that Michael Jackson has died. And yes, we will all not agree with the sort of man he was.
Australia has shown quite a few tributes to him in the last few days. There was one last night on channel 9.And there's two things that stand out to me more than anything else. He had two sides to his personality.
The abuse at the hands of his father from the moment he was born, would have gone well towards stumping his mental growth. An interview with Oprah, many years ago, brought up the subject, and she mentioned how his father would beat him, then he would go on stage and perform.
Was an arsehole of a father!
Michael's mental growth stopped at what, 8, 10, 15 years of age. The networks have showed footage from way back when the Jackson 5 first started. The audition for Motown, showed an 8 year old Michael performing for Berry Gordy.The Jacksons sold more than 150 million albums as the Jacksons.In 1979, Michael launched the Off the Wall album, then officially split from the Jackson 5 in 1984, to have his own career.
But did the abuse ever stop?
I don't think it did.
I agree, that Michael was more than likely the biggest entertainer in the world. Not too many have four and a half decades of a career. He lived, breathed and died a performer. But then his father did beat that into him.
Because of the abuse, he disappeared when he was on stage. It was his refuge, his blood, his breath, his life, his escape from Joe Jackson. And that's where he stayed. All through his life, the stage was where he was.
Michael's emotional growth stayed as a child. No wonder he believed what he did. That sleepovers were the norm, and sleeping in the same bed with boys was loving and normal.
To us it wasn't. To his 10 year old brain, it was his way of living the childhood he never had.
You can watch old footage and interviews, and piece together his frame of mind. As a performer, he was all work, adultlike and driven in his career. But as an emotionally fragile man he was a child desperately trying to have a childhood and relive the life he so desperately wanted, that was taken from him by that arsehole of a father, who will no doubt now struggle to gain whatever fortune is left.
Joe Jackson is to blame for the way his children turned out. So is their mother Katherine. She allowed Joe to abuse her children, and in the process he no doubt abused her.
How many have had drug problems, been bailed out of jail? Look at La Toya and her problems, she was once married to an emotionally and physically abusive man like her father.

I'm a big believer in the law of karma. A soul chooses the parents it will be born to, the family it will be born into, and the path of life it will take. There would have been lessons along the way, and who's to say Michael learned any of them. A soul also knows when and how it will die, and leave this earth. Michael knew. Interview with Michael Brasic from Carmine Giovinazzo's Ceesau
For all Carmine fans out there, I got sent this link to a Ceesau interview. But I'll post the whole interview.
Or at least that's the way this post did start.
I had originally given the url for a particular website that had posted an interview with Michael Brasic from Carmine Giovinazzo's band Ceesau.
I first posted this in June of 2009 but recently received an email from them requesting that I remove their interview and just leave the link, or, leave the first paragraph of their interview with their website address.
Now I've been in two minds about this and have finally decided not to delete the post, but to delete the interview. I have to abide by my own rules, and since I have a disclaimer and copyright notice, I need to respect other peoples wishes.
I don't believe I did anything wrong, as I hadn't claimed to have done the interview myself, and left their website link so anyone could go to their page and check out their site.
I believe some people can be too precious and found it strange that it took 8 months for them to find out about it. And then send me a message via Facebook, even though I didn't follow them and they don't follow me. They could have easily sent me an email via this blog, but chose not too. So I have no idea how they found out I'd posted it, but after 8 months of their interview being at their website, and mine, then they really shouldn't be offended and I should tell them to get stuffed.
While I do have a copyright notice, I set it up after I'd posted their interview, and so didn't even realise there would be a problem.
I don't claim to own the pics I post, unless they're of my personal belongings. And I did make all of the art pics (header, side bar pics etc) that I have on this sight, and the copyright covers those.
But as for posting interviews, I believe on magazine or newspaper sites, once they have been posted, then it's free for anyone to link to, copy, or direct followers to.
As far as I'm concerned I did nothing wrong, but in their eyes, I ''stole'' their interview and had no right to post it. Even though I gave their website. And I don't mind others copying my posts and what not, as long as there's a link to it, that's fine.
So really, I don't technically know what the problem is, but I'm pissed off. I have checked their website and there is no disclaimer or copyright notice. But Jewels does not want to be sued, although I'm sure once something is posted if there's a link and details given then I don't think you can, but still, I'll delete the interview AND their website from this post. They won't be getting any more plugs and advertising from me. No more links, no more promotions about their interviews.
They no doubt have this interview in their reader, waiting to see what I do, and I haven't had another email yet, and so they're probably waiting for my reply. They won't get one, they just get one big GET STUFFED from me!!!!!

My friend has fought her battles, but considering the Mods have their heads up their arses, they think that they can dictate stuff that is absolute bullshit. She is resigning herself to the fact that the bitches are NOT worth dealing with any longer. No wonder so many people have left the forum. She told me many have since she joined.
And Jolein didn't just have a go at her, she also had a go at the other two people that defended her! Jolein had no right to be a bitch to members that didn't even mention her in their post.
And my friend is sooooooo childish because she doesn't deal with it here?????

Does one need permission to marry in this day and age. And that's 2009 y'all!
This week Rove MacManus and Tasma Walton got married in Broome. Apparently no magazines knew about it, so none of them got the rights to all the pics.

Anyhoo, it came to light that Tasma proposed to Rove and asked his mother for her blessing!
That got me up in arms.
Now while I am an old fashioned gal, I personally think that asking ANY PARENT for their daughter's hand in marriage/blessing is nothing but a pile of bullshit!
Unless you are under the legal age limit for marriage, there is no need to ask for permission to marry someone. Or you come from one of these dumb-arse religions/countries that thinks all women are owned first by the father, then by the husband.

Food companies and the lies they show us!
I want to bitch about the ads I see on tv.
All the food ads, that show us all these wonderful dishes and burgers and melt in your mouth chocolates.
They woo us, they seduce us, they tempt us with goodies that make our mouth tingle, and make us head for the nearest store to buy it. We hand over our hard earned money, we rip open the packaging and when we get to the food we see.... it's not what was advertised!
That's the problem with ads. They make it all up. They don't really cook food for the ad. They don't really have steam rising from the hot chook, or melted chocolate oozing from the pudding.

It's all fake or computer enhanced!

I am so fucking sick and tired of seeing something good on tv, or in magazines, only to buy it and find out it ain't what I saw at all.
I've heard about people who have sued companies for this very thing. They received what they thought would look and be exactly like in the ads, but when they don't get it, they then sue the store and company for false advertising.
You'd think that the companies would've learned by now, but apparently false advertising gets them more money than they don't know what to do with. They don't care if you're disappointed. They don't care if you never buy it again. Because there will always be someone else to buy it in your place.
There are particular ads on tv that show meals in their plastic trays, heating in the micro. However, when the person is eating said meal, the rice is heaped on the bottom and the meat and veg are heaped on top. And it looks so good!
Sorry, but the food NEVER looks that way. There is no way in hell that food clumped together on a plastic tray ends up looking like that on a plate. And if you've had those meals, you know what I mean.
And since when do people bother trying to scoop the food off the tray onto a plate so that it's artfully arranged?
Simple answer is .... you can't!

I love to shop, as most of you that follow me on Twitter would know. I went out last Friday to go op shopping. Second hand stores are a fav haunt for finding things that you can't get anywhere else, or vintage goods that people have thrown out.
Anyhoo, I was in a store, and the lady that was behind the counter was dealing with a woman who couldn't speak english. The whole time I was in that store, this woman was trying to get the foreigner to understand what she was trying to tell her.
The woman wanted a coffee perculator for less than the $45 that was on there, but the assistant was not letting her get away with it. The convo went on for about 20 minutes, and the assistant even spoke to the foreigner's daughter on the phone to try and sort it all out, but apparently she didn't speak very good english either.
So my problem, and my bitch today is, why the fuck do people who cannot speak english come here. Why the fuck does the Australian government allow people who cannot speak english to come here.
I am not the only person who is annoyed by this.
I know many, and have seen them on tv etc, that are absolutely pissed off at the amount of people in this country who cannot speak english.
And all the refugees, or refos as I call them, come here to this country, get all the benefits the government will give them, and then they raid second hand charity stores for goods. BUT, they expect the stuff for less than what the price tag says!
That happened the last time I went op shopping. Two african type women had ripped the price tags off the clothes they wanted and then tried to still get them when the shop assistant told them the store does not sell clothes without tags. They didn't get the clothes, and bitched back and forth in their own language while waiting for the assistant. He just stood there and tried to remain calm.
But I know that these people piss everyone else off. They don't speak english, they don't bother learning the ways of this country, they don't bother getting their shit together and following the rules. And we have to put up with it.
At least the assistant from Friday stood her ground and didn't let the foreigner get the best of her. And then the bitch started saying her english wasn't very good.
Well fuck me! Wasn't it. Piss of back to where you came from then, and take all of your rellies with you!
The point comes down to this. If you can't speak english, or you don't want to blend into our society, then stay where you are, or piss off back to under the rock you crawled out from.

Living alone and the vulnerability single women go through!
I want to blog about living alone.
They had a discussion on Kerri-anne this morning about people who are paranoid about living alone and how it's more because of a mental state (they can't do without people in their lives) than a real problem.
Anyhoo, won't go into that.
But one reason for not living alone is home invasion. Now, a lot of young women do not live alone, and while some do, personally, I hate it. I have been alone a few times in my life, and I had lights on all night, and a radio going. I didn't go outside, and only cranked two windows open a few inches.
A lot of women who live on their own are assaulted. Now that's a statistical fact, as it is for women who live with their friends, or women who live with their boyfriends. Some men, who are absolute dogs, stalk women, follow them home, break and enter, rape, beat, abuse, murder, assault, rob and anything else they can think of.
A lot of ex boyfriends do it.They've been dumped and feel they have lost control. A lot of dogs, that need money for drugs, do it. As there is always money or jewellery stolen. Occassionally is it just an assault. A lot of times there is a reason, they get power and control, because their life is out of control.
I have heard many stories on tv shows, and read in magazines, about women who have woken up with a strange man rifling through their bedside tables looking for money and jewellery. And then of course, the dog threatens them with a knife or gun, and they're gonna have their throat slashed, or be shot, or killed, all because it's about power for the dog who's doing it.
And a lot of women have said, that they woke to a man on top of them, and when they screamed they were threatened with their children's death. If you've got children, fight to the death for them. Don't lay there and let some man violate you just for the sake of your children.
I've also seen on these shows, police officers telling the women they did the right thing, by letting the man take what he wanted, they saved their lives and the lives of their children.
EXCUSE ME!!!!
There is NO WAY IN HELL I will lie back - or let an assault happen, or not scream, or not fight, or not kick him in the nuts, or scratch his eyes out or DO SOMETHING - and ALLOW some dog to violate me all for the sake of living. I would rather have my throat slashed or take a bullet instead of lying back and being raped just to make things easier and so I wasn't killed.
I would rather die fighting for my life than lie back and allow that to happen.
I will fight to the death for myself and my children, and that death WILL NOT be mine!

The Chasers have been yanked for this week by the dumb-arse powers that be at the ABC all because of the skit for the 'Make a Realistic Wish Foundation'.Personally, I thought it was stupid, but nothing to be offended by. They're comedians, plain and simple. And I mean ''simple''. Comedians are most times funny, and sometimes stupid. You laugh, you cry, you yell out in disgust, but so fucking what!

Jump in price of Lexmark cartridges is appalling!
I'm going to bitch about Lexmark cartridges today.
I have a lexmark printer and I usually buy the carts from Big W for a reasonable price of $28.95. However, they have since jumped to the disgusting price of $45. I'm glad I bought a double black pack back around xmas time, from Big W for $50 before the price hike. I've been putting off printing until the price came down, to buy a colour cart, but it turns out the price isn't coming down.
I emailed Lexmark, and told them I was disgusted by the $15+ price hike. And while I understood the carts going up a few dollars, $15- $18 was disgusting and wrong!
Lexmark returned my email, and told me that due to the world economic crisis, that the price hike was an appropriate one due to the financial times.
WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!!!!
The world economic crisis is absolutely NO excuse for such a jump in price. Every store that still sells the carts have them at $45, and so I decided against buying.
Problem is, my printing has been backing up on my pc, so I had to give in and buy some colour carts .... on ebay, that is. Saved myself a shit load of money, and so far have bought 3 coloured and 2 blacks, and I've still got loads of printing to do!
My pc keeps telling me that I've got no space left, even though I've deleted massive amounts of data, and printed off even more, I have no space! So it looks like I'll have to keep cleaning it out. Must be blocked up with all them pics of Michael and Carmine!!!!!!!

As for the new show - New Idea Tv, on at 3 pm every afternoon. What a pissing waste of time and money. The show sucks from here to eternity. And mainly has cooking.

We're finally seeing new eps here in Aus, saw ''Dead Inside'' last Sunday night. Seeing Carmine speeding down the river on the police boat was very exhilirating. Damn the Italian Stallion is still looking good! But unfortunately, I have no pics, so these will have to do!
Found some pics on the net, don't know how new they are. He's still on holiday so I think he should damn well come down here to Aus so I can ride him to the other side of the country and back!
