I think I touched on the fact my brother was one of these people.

A few months after they had my niece my mum went around to visit. My brother was working 6 days a week, 8-10 hour days at the time and his fiance was looking after the kid.

Anyway, his fiance says to mum "Oh sorry about the mess, he hasn't cleaned for a week"

Fair enough, she's got a baby to look after. But the baby naps. But when the baby napped she watched TV and caught up on her shows, because that was "her" time.

When my brother got home from work he had to feed the baby and put her to bed because his fiance "had been running around after her all day" (as opposed to him who'd been taking it easy at work)

And then on his one day off he was expected to clean the place, top to bottom.

So yeah, I've seen it up close. It's nasty.

I agree with you on this. I applaud these men who still stick around after so much nagging and being annoyed by self centered wives. Often times I wonder why sometimes mr. perfect is with ms. oh so wrong wrong wrong, or even vice versa...might be because of balance of nature? hehehehe... I was at the mall earlier and I saw this ditzy looking girl with a much older foreigner guy. Seriously I have always found this amusing. Um derrr, men are ...um..men. I'm a woman. We are different. I do not expect him to be my Prince Charming etc..Prince Charming had butlers and maids and shit, that's why that relationship worked. I love my husband because he's hot, funny, a distraction and had a hand in making all these kids. Secondly, because he's an extra pair of hands when I am bored to death of all these little people.
